How to encourage english department students to speak more often and confident

           As an english department students, the students should master four basic skill of english. They are listening, reading,speaking and writing. However, most of students are very weak in speaking skill.  That is proved when the english department students speak in public not well, even in front of the class they may still clumsy. Although they have so many vocabularies, but if the students mental is not trained that is useless.

          According to me, the english department students should begin to apply their knowledge in the daily activities. Start from the little things they can do. For example, when they wake up they can mention the things around them using english. They also can make convertation with the things around and imagine that it is our interlocutors. They also can train speaking in english by watching english movie witout subtitle, reading the english books and listening the english music.
     
          The conclusion is learning english is easy, if they want and earnest they can do it. Moreover, speaking skill become the basic valuation of the people toward the english department students. Therefore, it is important being fluent and confident when speak in english.
